We're recruiting Pilates Instructors to Teach on our Online Studio

Flexia is looking for talented, engaging, and diverse Pilates instructors to join our team to lead live and on-demand classes, develop guided programs around specific goals, and work with clients virtually, 1:1.

If you are not already based in the Sacramento, CA area, you will need to be able to relocate for this position. 

Location: Sacramento, CA (small relocation stipend available)

Responsibilities:

  • Film 10-15 live and pre-recorded Reformer classes of varying levels each week in the Flexia filming studio located in Sacramento, CA.
  • Work with the Flexia instructor team to develop pre-recorded guided programs to help customers achieve their goals.  For example: Build shoulder strength, overcome back pain, or relieve plantar fasciitis symptoms.
  • Develop and write teaching guidelines that become standard Flexia best-practices for teaching for the Online Studio.
  • Work with the Flexia instructor team to create a comprehensive online studio schedule of class types, levels, and durations, to best fit our customers needs.

We're recruiting a Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Flexia is looking to add a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to our founding team to help us manage and grow our hardware development and supply chain.

Location: Sacramento, CA (small relocation stipend available)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Reformer design and BOM
  • Design new features or products, and update the design of existing parts
  • Work with our manufacturing partner to ensure quality and on-time delivery
  • Manage inventory and the fulfillment process
  • Manage the design change process
  • Write and implement manufacturing quality standards
  • Provide input on budget and financial projections
  • Hire and manage a team of engineers, supply chain experts, and staff to support our growing customer needs

Your skills:

  • You are an expert in Solidworks (parts, assemblies, drawings, basic FEA)
  • You consistently set and meet your own deadlines
  • You obsess about clear communication of technical information
  • When you don’t know something, you exhaust all available resources to get information to guide your decision-making process
  • You are always learning, and have a stack of books waiting to be read (or a favorite list of blogs!)
